9th Annual Tokyo-London Financial Seminar

Ahead of the 9th Annual Tokyo-London Financial Seminar, I had the honour of welcoming the Ambassador of Japan, Ambassador Hiroshi Suzuki, to the City of London yesterday to discuss the crucial Japan-UK relationship and the City's cooperation with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government.

Speaking at the 9th Tokyo-London Financial Seminar at Ironmongers'​ Hall, I highlighted the importance of deepening the financial ties between London and Tokyo.

By fostering collaboration in fintech, AI applications, and sustainable finance, we can unlock new opportunities and drive mutual prosperity. Equally, strengthening our partnerships in asset management and insurance will ensure both cities remain at the forefront of global finance. Together, we can unleash the full potential of our financial centres.
