Supporting our fast-growing sector will unleash new growth across the UK.

I was delighted to host our first ever "Scale-Up Showcase" at Mansion House the first week in February - a landmark event giving 18 of the UK's best high-growth tech start-ups the opportunity to present to an audience of 240 representatives from major UK financial services companies.

The UK has top talent, top universities, and we're ranked third in the world for tech start-ups. But too few businesses are scaling into global leaders. Initiatives like the "Scale-Up Showcase" will address the scale-up funding gap and help ensure homegrown businesses can start, grow and thrive here in the UK.
